Running the Hard Cover Stage at the Michigan SWAT Challenge

We recently travelled to Lake City, Michigan to join the teams competing at the Michigan SWAT Challenge, hosted at the Marksmanship Training Center. This event brought together some of the sharpest tactical teams in the region, and we were glad to be part of it.

Bringing Movement to the Hard Cover Course

We ran the Hard Cover course with our Dynamic Range X1 Pro moving target systems. The X1 Pro introduced unpredictable movement and timing elements that make this stage a challenge — forcing teams to track, react, and problem-solve under pressure. Events like the Michigan SWAT Challenge which are meant to challenge law enforcement officers, makes them the perfect place for movement-based targets. Watching teams adapt to shifting angles, limited exposure, and moving threats is a reminder of why dynamic training systems matter.
