Setting Up a Permanent End Post for Your Range

In this blog post, we’ll walk you through the steps of setting up a permanent end post (or semi-permanent) for the Dynamic Range X1 or X1 Plus, which is essential for attaching the paracord or steel cable that guides your target.

Step-by-Step Guide:

  1. Clear the Area:

    • Begin by clearing the brush where you’ll place the end post.

  2. Prepare the Post Hole:

    • Dig a small one-foot-deep hole for the post.

  3. Install the Post:

    • Use a 4x4x12-foot piece of pressure-treated lumber for the main post. Drive it into the ground, and secure it with cross braces made of 2x4s at a 45-degree angle.

  4. Secure the Post:

    • Alternatively, you can dig deeper or use concrete for additional stability.

The accompanying video will show a time-lapse of this process, making it easy to follow along and set up your permanent end post.
